from simple to sampled

It’s been a wild experience going from recording on my phone voice recorder software, to utilizing loops and real instruments, to getting my music actually produced.

Maybe we’re not professionals. Maybe it’s nothing special! But it feels big, and special, and wonderful to actually put time and effort into something I’ve been doing for as long as I can remember. Collaborating with Tony has been a fascinating experience that allowed me to understand more about what I’m capable of as an artist. I don’t know that I would call myself a musician - I do too many things, and do so many of them poorly or half-assed or barely do them, that calling myself an artist seems like the most accurate terminology. I’m someone who creates. And I didn’t know I could create something like what we’re making right now.
